 Mark Plackett wins the Banstead Woods ParkRun on 27th March (Photo from Richard Carter) The 15 year-old took the spoils over the 5km course in a time of 17:28, winning by a margin of just three seconds from his nearest rival. The club's only other previous winner of the event is Peter Chambers who won the weekly race on the 20th December 2008. Elsewhere in the field, Dave Warren was 43rd in 23:12, while Norman Hemming finished 20th in a time of 23:44 at the Roundshaw Downs event.
